About Fluora

A school for adults who are tired of textbook English.

Fluora was founded in 2018 by two former university English lecturers who had grown quietly frustrated by how mechanical most language classes felt. Adults sat through scripted dialogues, memorised words they would never say in real life, and left classrooms only marginally more confident than when they arrived.

We started Fluora to build the kind of school we wished existed for our own friends: small live classes online, tutors who care, real conversation, honest feedback. Seven years on we are still small on purpose — fourteen tutors, one principle. Every student deserves attention, not a script.
